Job purpose:

As one of the world-leading brand in the Esport industry, Nicecactus is a global Esport organization focused on growing the game in the world. Nicecactus current offices are in Amsterdam, Barcelona (Esports Arena of 400m2), Cannes HQ, Paris, Los Angeles and Berlin.

The Partnerships Sales & Marketing Manager will support the Sales Partnerships Director on his business KPI with the management of a growing portfolio of brands associated with Nicecactus unique Esport ecosystem. In addition to partnerships, there will also be a focus on efforts to grow the Nicecactus brand in Spain and Portugal as core market as well as develop and engage gamers in the market. The job will provide opportunities to take ownership of both short and middle term projects and support in daily activities including prospecting, campaign development, marketing initiatives, reporting and rights delivery.

The areas of concentration include but are not limited to - prospecting, idea generation, sales deck creation, asset packaging, inventory tracking, event planning and execution, digital marketing, youth programs, gamers sponsorship fund and competitor and business development research.

Must be flexible with available work hours.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Generate new business revenue through the fiscal year;

  • Build relationships with current Prospects and Partners through phone calls, events, and game day

    interactions;

  • Prospect and close new sales leads for the organization through an outbound sales effort including

cold-calling, relationship selling and in-person presentations;

  • Make a required minimum of 40 outbound sales calls per day with the goal of maximizing all revenues

    for Nicecactus related services;

  • Attend out of office meetings (corporate meetings, networking events, online tournaments, etc...);

  • Develop and constantly grow a database comprised of major corporations, medium and smaller-sized

    businesses, and individual prospects through various professional prospecting and networking efforts

    throughout the business community;

  • Build strong relationships with account base through proactive communication including touch

    points, phone calls, emails and other communication channels;

  • Meet or exceed sales goals assigned by the Sales Partnership Director;

  • Other duties as determined by the Exco and management team of the Spain and Portugal markets.

 

Requirements/Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field;

  • Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in the sport and / or digital media advertising. Experience in the

    sports/advertising industries is a plus;

  • Track record of sales sponsorship success;

  • Esports knowledge is preferred, but not required;

  • Aggressive, competitive and dedicated attitude, with excellent verbal and written communications

    skills;

  • Motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial drive;

  • Experience in the Spanish and Portuguese marketplaces preferred;

  • Excellent time management, organization, and customer service skills;

  • High comfort level making cold calls;

  • Excellent knowledge of PC systems including Word, Excel and database-related platforms;

  • Creativity and excellent interpersonal skills required;

  • Working knowledge of generally accepted standards of customer service and problem resolution;

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
