Sport Business Talent is working closely with the MMG Group ( Millet Millet Group) to recruit a Key Account Manager "El Cortes Ingles & Wala".  

 

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER: Spain 

 

As KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, your role consists in optimizing the sales and revenue of the company Space Management location and achieve excellence in retail operations effectiveness and efficiency by continuously raise the standard of in-store staff, increasing sales effectiveness and the customer experience.

To do so, your main missions will cover driving sales & Business, leading store operations, and managing an in-house staff in SPM (currently 12 ECI Stores + 5 Wala centers)

You drive sales & business with the aim to reach and exceed agreed revenue, margins, and contribution targets Provide accurate and timely sales reports to Sales Management

You Implement marketing activities to stimulate sales performance

 

Missions

Maximize Shop-in-Shop sales and revenue.

1. Sales & Business management:

  • Implement promotion campaigns according to SPM promotion calendar and establish discount price-lists

  • Coordinate with SPM buying team and internal teams the opening of new point of sale

  • Visit the stores on a regular basis please define to check performance and take decisions accordingly

  • Take care of Visual Merchandising (at least once per month) and Brand presence in order to optimize sell-through at each point of sales

 

2. Store Operations:

  • Select the right range (sku’s, width) for SPM and allocate assortment per point of sales.

  • Establish accurate forecast by season

  • Establish and control the right deliveries and flow of products at the point of sales

  • Analyze sales on a weekly basis in order to activate re-orders

  • Provide qualitative feedback on collection acceptance from final consumers and detect new business opportunities.

  • Benchmark on competitors' best practices.

  • Analyze sales to determine “best sellers” in order to maximize product offers.

  • Make inventories and organize returns of goods at the end of each season.

  • Work closely with HQ Customer Service and After Sales to ensure all processes are correctly defined and implemented

 

3. People:

  • Manage in-house staff (currently around 15 people): monthly hours, holidays, ...

  • Plan staff agenda that ensures right consumer attendance and maximize company’s salary budget

  • Identify store candidates and manage the hiring of store staff in accordance when needed

  • Implement appropriate training to improve product technical knowledge, sales attendance and visual

    merchandising

  • Communicate on a monthly basis the performance vs LY and target including the action plan for the coming

    month.

  • Ensure all store staff appropriately project the Brand image

  • Organize one staff meeting per season and ensure all staff receive all appropriate information provided by the

    company.

 

Experience:

  • 4/5 years experience in a similar position

 

Additional requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, French is a plus

  • Position based in Barcelona, Availability to travel

  • Interest for sports/outdoor activities

  • Advanced computer skills

  • Proactive and excellent problem solving
