Sport Business Talent is working with the Millet Moutain group to recruit their Digital Key Account Manager on the DACH region for a role based in Munich.

LOCATED: SOUTH GERMANY / MUNICH

 

PROFILE


This role is suited to a committed candidate with a deep understanding and expertise on digital/online sales within expertise on digital marketing.

The ideally DAM is an experienced sales-driven person with a link to the local sports market within DACH.
The DAM will be responsible to contribute and improve sales according to the MMG strategic growth plan. The DAM will be focusing in an active role by managing existing digital clients and gaining new clients in accordance with the best interest of the MMG and in agreement with the Area Sales Manager. This role is the wholesale accountable for the digital sales, product promotion and Brand positioning of the Millet Mountain Group SAS.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Manage and develop existing and source new digital clients according to the strategic sales plan
2) Improve brand visibility and digital awareness
3) Identify growth levers and set up actions to improve sell out
4) Detailed go-to-market planning by client/season
5) Constant monitoring, analyse and report digital & sales KPI’s
6) Interact and cooperate with local sales & marketing teams
7) Implement and trace MMG’s selective distribution policy
8) Improve and install operational workflows
9) Provide proper forecast, sales & assortment planning to the dedicated digital client group
10) Interact in a permanent liaison with the related purchase and marketing departments
11) Fulfil setted sales targets to dedicated pre-, re-, and cleaning order goals

SALES & DIGITAL SPECIFICS


1) Maintaining an up to date, current and detailed knowledge of the entire product line per Brand
2) Managing and dealing with all product line purchase departments
3) Promote in perfect matter all new and existing product ranges, lines and product features
4) Hold up presentations, whether in the showroom, client location or tradeshows
5) Providing support and remain reliable contact point for client requests and demands
6) Obtaining, listening, record and report customers comments and feedbacks
7) Acting on information and feedback to improve service and sell out level
8) Constant visit and client meetings to keep and build up a strong client relation
9) Ensure and manage to provide up-to-date digital product- and marketing promotion content
10) Support and participate in local tradeshows, events, sales and product meetings
11) Ability and attendance to travel international and national to meet clients and HQ teams

 

IDEAL SKILLS


1) Must have proven knowledge and experience on digital sales & marketing management
2) Must have surpassing experience on digital and online related KPI
3) Must have previous experience in a sales role ideally within a global / DACH organisation
3) Must have authentic user knowledge of sports, outdoor and/or alpine products
4) Must agree in working in a flexible, employee empowering environment
5) Must have knowledge in using Microsoft Office and other devices, visual communication software
6) Must be able and willing to travel extensively
7) Must have deep understanding within the outdoor sporting goods market within D-A-CH  

 

IDEAL EDUCATION


1) Must be able to communicate and write perfect German
2) Must be able to communicate and write fluent English, French is a plus
2) Driving license German 3
